Confirmation of Place
Your place will be confirmed in writing after your Participation Agreement and Working with Children Check or DBS check have been reviewed. You can now book your flights and start fundraising!
Getting started with fundraising can be daunting, so we have put together a Fundraising Toolkit that will step you through the process of formulating an idea, developing a plan, and putting the plan into action. Before you actually take to the streets, the phone or the internet, please will you let us know what you aim to do by completing a Proposal to Fundraise so we can help you with the rules and regulations that may apply to what you are planning. Good luck and thank you.
In the UK, you can make your fundraising go further by having donors complete a Gift Aid Declaration form which allows us to collect the basic rate of tax paid on the donation. If you aim to collect donations from multiple donors, please use the Sponsorship Gift Aid form. Completing these forms can allow us to turn each £1 donated to £1.25.
In Australia, if you receive donations and donors wish to receive a receipt from us for tax purposes, please enter their details on the Donation record form and return to us, either by email or post. We will require their full name, email or postal address and amount donated.
